About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a CECS Warehouse Operative / Driver (Band 2) on behalf of our client based in Lisburn. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse or logistics professional to join a busy team, supporting the efficient receipt, storage, distribution and delivery of goods and equipment across the service. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining warehouse operations, stock control and delivery services while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the receipt, storage and distribution of stock and supplies.
- Prepare, pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Deliver goods and equipment using vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.
- Maintain accurate stock records and assist with inventory management.
- Ensure warehouse areas are organised, clean and safe at all times.
- Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Support procurement and logistics activities as required.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet service deadlines and operational requirements.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and organisational policies.
Essential Criteria
Applicants must meet one of the following:
- Option 1: A minimum of three GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grades A–C*, including English Language and Mathematics, and at least 1 year's experience in a procurement or logistics environment.
- Option 2: At least 2 years' relevant experience in a procurement or logistics environment.
In Addition: Hold a full Category B Driving Licence with the ability to drive vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.

- Ability to work to deadlines and manage workloads efficiently.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to meet service requirements.
Desirable Criteria
- Forklift licence for Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck operation.
