Vacancies available for B3 Cook. Location 1 is a Residential unit in Larne which has 16 residents. Location 2 is a Day centre in Larne which has 40 service users. Up to 37.5 hours available each week.
£12.75 per hour Monday - Friday, £17.22 Saturday, £21.55 Sunday.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIACity & Guilds 706 Catering (or equivalent), a Basic Food Hygiene certificate and a good knowledge of Food Safety/HACCP.
KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES- To lead a team in one or more of the following areas: Production, ready to eat and bakery area to prepare, cook and serve food to the agreed recipes and standard.
- To have knowledge and cater for any dietary requirements and ensure compliance in relation to allergens.
- To understand and adhere to HACCP and ensure accurate recording and monitoring of HACCP forms.
- To contribute ideas on staff menus, functions and the catering services in general.
- To deal with telephone queries and take appropriate action as necessary.
- To carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the Catering Manager.
