Materials Services Officer – Band 2 Temporary, with the potential to lead to a full-time permanent position Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm Apple Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our public sector client for a Materials Services Officer – Band 2 based in Downpatrick This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy Procurement and Logistics team, providing an essential materials management service across a hospital environment. Remove packaging from delivered goods and return waste packaging to designated collection points. Receive, check and issue local stock and non-stock deliveries. Respond to queries regarding the quality and supply of goods. Use technology such as barcode scanners, computers and other equipment to support materials management processes. Carry out general stores duties, including good housekeeping and assisting with inventory checks. Work flexibly to meet the requirements of the service. Comply with all relevant health and safety policies and procedures.
