This is an excellent opportunity for a planning professional to support housing-led regeneration, land asset management and strategic planning initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of new housing developments, regeneration programmes and place-shaping projects across Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake land asset activities, including evaluations, estate studies and planning applications.
- Support housing-led regeneration projects and the delivery of new housing developments, including mixed-use and mixed-tenure neighbourhoods.
- Assist with the Social Housing Development Programme by identifying and supporting schemes in areas of housing need.
- Undertake Site Identification Studies and Feasibility Studies in areas of high housing demand and rural locations.
- Provide professional town planning advice across a range of housing and regeneration projects.
- Complete Housing Market Analysis and Housing Need Statements.
- Support the production of annual Housing Investment Plans.
- Liaise with councils, communities and key stakeholders to support regeneration and place-shaping initiatives.
- Produce reports and briefings on housing need and regeneration programmes.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, governance requirements and planning procedures.
- A RTPI/IPI recognised Town Planning Degree.
- Experience within planning, regeneration, housing or a related environment.
- Advanced IT skills, including proficiency in GIS (ArcMap).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to produce accurate reports and planning documentation.
- A commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Basic Access NI clearance (required prior to commencement).
