This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Cooks to join a busy catering team where food safety, health and safety and high standards of food preparation are a priority. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook food in accordance with agreed recipes, menus and required standards. Work effectively as part of a team within a busy production kitchen. Follow recipes and menus accurately and competently. Ensure food safety, hygiene and health and safety standards are consistently maintained. Follow and adhere to HACCP procedures and complete relevant records accurately. Have a good understanding of food safety and allergen requirements. Cater for dietary requirements and ensure compliance with relevant allergen procedures. Respond to telephone calls from wards and accurately record and follow instructions as required. Communicate effectively with colleagues and other departments. Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
