Our client is a respected managing agent providing full support to residential developments at every stage — from planning and development through to sales and ongoing property management. This role offers the chance to take ownership of a portfolio of residential developments, act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, and make a real impact by maintaining high standards, managing contractors, and ensuring financial control. Key Responsibilities
Client & Relationship Management- Act as the key point of contact for clients, residents, and management company directors
- Respond to calls, emails, and correspondence professionally and promptly
- Provide updates via letters, email, or client portal depending on client preference
- Attend AGMs and Directors’ meetings as required
- Build trust with clients through a proactive and responsive approach
- Manage the day-to-day operations of residential property developments
- Conduct site visits and regular inspections of internal and external communal areas
- Identify and address maintenance issues promptly
- Ensure developments meet high standards of safety, compliance, and presentation
- Liaise with contractors and service providers to arrange repairs and maintenance
- Raise job orders in line with company procedures
- Monitor contractor performance to ensure work meets standards
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and insurance requirements
- Assist in preparing and managing development budgets
- Ensure accurate billing, expenditure allocation, and financial reporting
- Maintain up-to-date records of inspections, maintenance, and correspondence
- Make full use of company systems and processes to support portfolio management
- Deliver a professional, proactive service to retain existing developments
- Support the continued growth of the portfolio as the organisation expands
Skills & Experience
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is an experienced Property Manager with a proven track record in residential property portfolios
- Is diligent, organised, and able to plan carefully while managing multiple developments
- Has excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Is confident working with clients, residents, directors, and contractors
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving and organisational abilities
- Is proactive, reliable, and committed to delivering high service standards
- Holds a full driving licence and is over 25 for insurance purposes
- Has the permanent right to work in the UK or indefinite leave to remain
