As the first point of contact for the office, you'll play a key role in ensuring a welcoming, professional and efficient environment while supporting the day-to-day operations of a successful and growing team.

The Role

As Receptionist, you will be responsible for delivering a first-class front-of-house experience while supporting the smooth running of a busy office environment. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming visitors and ensuring a professional and positive experience at all times
  • Managing visitor sign-in procedures and coordinating with colleagues regarding arrivals
  • Acting as the first point of contact for incoming telephone enquiries
  • Answering, screening and directing calls efficiently and professionally
  • Managing meeting room bookings and ensuring rooms are prepared for meetings and events
  • Coordinating refreshments for visitors and meetings as required
  • Providing administrative support to various teams across the business
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post and courier arrangements
  • Assisting with document preparation, scanning, copying and general office administration
  • Maintaining shared office areas to a high standard and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office

About You

  • Previous experience within a receptionist, front-of-house, customer service or administrative role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A professional and confident approach when dealing with clients, visitors and colleagues
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
