Apple Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Administrator on behalf of a well-established organisation based in Belfast. This is a Fixed Term Contract until 31st December 2026 with the possibility of extension. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented administrator to join a busy Accounts and Property Management team. The successful candidate will provide administrative and accounts support, assisting with invoice processing, maintaining accurate records, responding to enquiries and ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the department.
The role would suit someone with previous experience in administration, accounts support, customer service or office administration who is looking to gain valuable experience within a professional and fast-paced environment.
The Role
The Accounts Administrator will support the Accounts and Property Management teams by processing information accurately, maintaining records, handling enquiries and assisting with general administrative duties. This is a varied role requiring excellent organisation, strong attention to detail and a professional approach when dealing with clients, residents and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input invoice information into the company's ERP system.
- Respond to contractor enquiries by telephone and email, including invoice and account-related queries.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to Account Managers and the wider team.
- Handle incoming calls from clients, residents and contractors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Process and maintain client information accurately and confidentially.
- Carry out general data entry, database maintenance, scanning, filing and document management duties.
- Escalate complex queries to the appropriate team members when required.
- Support the efficient operation of the Accounts and Property Management functions.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure information is up to date.
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in an administrative, accounts administration, customer service or office support role.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Professional telephone manner and excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to organise workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, professional and able to maintain confidentiality.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience using an ERP, finance, accounting or property management system.
- Previous experience processing invoices or providing accounts support.
- Experience within property management, housing, facilities management, construction or a related sector.
- Knowledge of residential property management administration.
