About the Role

On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Facility Support Worker (Catering & Cleaning Duties) to join a busy Day Centre setting based in Banbridge. This role is ideal for someone with previous catering and cleaning experience who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operation of the facility, helping to provide a safe, clean and welcoming environment for service users and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out catering and food preparation duties as required
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility
  • Adhere to food hygiene and allergen management procedures
  • Ensure all cleaning schedules are completed accurately and on time
  • Support the safe handling and storage of food products
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times
  • Assist with maintaining a welcoming and safe environment for service users
  • Work effectively as part of the wider team
  • Comply with all relevant organisational policies and procedures

Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience in a similar catering and cleaning role
  • Knowledge of food allergens and allergen management
  • Food Hygiene Training
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Additional Information

  • Enhanced Access NI check with both Barred Lists is required
  • Mandatory training will be provided to the successful candidate
