About the Role
On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Facility Support Worker (Catering & Cleaning Duties) to join a busy Day Centre setting based in Banbridge. This role is ideal for someone with previous catering and cleaning experience who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operation of the facility, helping to provide a safe, clean and welcoming environment for service users and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out catering and food preparation duties as required
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility
- Adhere to food hygiene and allergen management procedures
- Ensure all cleaning schedules are completed accurately and on time
- Support the safe handling and storage of food products
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Assist with maintaining a welcoming and safe environment for service users
- Work effectively as part of the wider team
- Comply with all relevant organisational policies and procedures
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in a similar catering and cleaning role
- Knowledge of food allergens and allergen management
- Food Hygiene Training
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Additional Information
- Enhanced Access NI check with both Barred Lists is required
- Mandatory training will be provided to the successful candidate
