Salary: £12.71 per hour

Location: Mallusk, Newtownabbey

Hours: Monday to Friday; 6am - 2pm; Monday to Thursday; 6am - 12:30 (Friday). May change to evening shift once trained - Monday to Friday; 2pm - 10pm.

Main purpose:

  • Assist with the large format print production facility
  • Ensure work area is kept clean and tidy
  • Assist with putting materials into storage

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Production: learn and assist with the cutting to shape of materials on the Kongsberg router machine; learn and assist with the printing of wide format materials
  • Packaging: assist in the packaging of orders to the required standard
  • Storage: learn about materials to be used and the correct storage of them to ensure maximum productivity
  • General: ensure work areas are kept clean and free from obstruction; ensure any wastage off cuts etc are disposed of in accordance with company procedures; learn how to keep machinery in good condition and report any malfunction to the team leader; work as part of a team to ensure collective deadlines are met and adhered to

Criteria:

  • Computer literate (be able to perform basic tasks on a computer)
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work on your own and under pressure
  • Fully flexible attitude to the varying types of work you will be undertaking

Originally day shift until training is complete - may be required for evening shift after.
