Overview

We are seeking a Design Verification Engineer to develop verification plans and environments for Apple’s power management silicon, ensuring high efficiency and performance for the next generation of Apple products.

Responsibilities

  • Enable bug‑free first silicon for mixed‑signal designs in collaboration with Digital and Analog Design engineers.
  • Establish verification methodology and develop test plans.
  • Develop verification environments, including stimulus, checkers, test writing, and debugging.
  • Run simulations, debug design and environment issues, and generate directed and constrained random tests.
  • Create functional coverage points, analyze coverage, and improve test environments to target coverage holes.
  • Craft automated verification flows for block and chip‑level verification.
  • Apply knowledge of VHDL/Verilog, System Verilog/UVM, and logic simulators to verify complex designs.
  • Collaborate with block and core‑level engineers to ensure efficient verification flows.

Qualifications

  • BSc/MSc/BEng/MEng/Ph D in Electronic Engineering or equivalent field.
  • Good understanding of System Verilog and basic experience with UVM.
  • Understanding of digital logic circuits and experience with digital logic simulation.
  • Experience with Python, Perl, or TCL.
  • Ability to work well in a team under tight schedules.
  • Strong communication skills, self‑motivated, well‑organised, and collaborative.
  • Strong analytical/problem‑solving skills.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal).
  • Understanding of analog or mixed‑signal circuits (desirable).
  • Knowledge of constrained random verification (desirable).
  • Some international travel may be required.
