Description

Engineering Operations engineers take part in every aspect of the software development lifecycle. We work in a fast-paced environment, and are responsible for everything from the underlying AWS infrastructure services, to control plane considerations, as well as high-availability and robust application deployment designs. We conduct constructive design discussions, learn from each other, and use our experience to guide and teach. We work closely with Privacy and Security engineering teams to ensure that the products we build go above and beyond on both fronts. We also partner closely with quality and testing teams, and understand that their success is ours as well. We have standardized on Kotlin and built our distributed architecture only on AWS services. Workflow orchestration, familiarity with multiple implementations of data stores, telemetry implementations, alerting and availability infrastructure are all fundamentals that are required for this role

  • BS degree in computer science or equivalent field

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer certifications
  • Launched and operated commercial products and services based on AWS (references required)
  • Published papers or led talks featuring leading multi-functional projects; specific instances or examples in the FinTech space is a bonus
