Description
We are seeking a highly detail oriented and analytical Sales Data Operations Analyst to support the Consumer, Business, and Education sales organisation. This role will be pivotal in managing and maintaining customer master sales data, customer lists, and territory assignments, ensuring data accuracy and operational efficiency. You will partner cross-functionally with teams in Sales, Finance, Planning, and IS&T. The ideal candidate is proficient in handling large data sets, has experience with Snowflake and Tableau, and can represent complex data in a clear actionable way.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the regional lead on a global territory management solution, partnering with global stakeholders and other regions for process improvements, and system alignment
- Collaborate with Planning and Finance to validate sales coverage data for target setting, forecasting, commissions, and business reviews
- Update territory assignments to ensure alignment with business strategy and account ownership
- Be the EMEIA business expert on sales coverage and territory management
- Manage customer list hygiene and integrity across Consumer, Business, and Education
- Maintain and update customer master sales data across systems
- Pull and analyse large data sets using tools such as Snowflake for ad hoc analysis
- Represent large data sets in dashboards providing clear visibility, patterns, and insights to customer / territory coverage
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business, data analytics, information systems, or a related field – or equivalent experience
- Demonstrable experience in sales operations, business operations, or a data analyst role
- Strong proficiency with SQL and Snowflake for querying large data sets
- Solid understanding of sales processes, customer hierarchy, and territory management
- Experience working with cross-functional and global teams
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Consumer, Business, and/or Education sales teams in an operations, sales enablement, or a similar role
- Proficient with CRM systems, especially Territory Management applications (E.g. Salesforce Territory Management) and data governance practices / policies.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts to solve business problems
- A background in project management, or experience driving system / process improvements is a distinct advantage.
