The ASE Organizational Systems & Intelligence team is looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer who enjoys building tools, platforms, and automation that improve how teams operate. In this role you will help design and develop internal systems that power operational insights, automation, and intelligent workflows across Apple Service Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Join a high‑trust, high‑impact engineering team responsible for building and evolving internal tools and web applications that support the Apple Services Engineering (ASE) organization.
  • Translate ideas and operational needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Build and iterate on internal platforms and tools used by engineering and program teams.
  • Develop MVPs quickly and evolve them based on user feedback.
  • Improve development workflows through automation, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices.
  • Contribute to systems that enable intelligent insights, reporting, and AI‑driven capabilities across ASE.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Professional experience as a software engineer building production systems.
  • Strong problem‑solving ability with a self‑driven and proactive mindset.
  • Experience building modern web applications.
  • Back‑end development experience building APIs and services.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with modern cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).
  • Experience working with containerized applications (Docker / Kubernetes).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with React, Next.js, and/or Node.js.
  • Experience building internal tools, developer platforms, or operational systems.
  • Experience integrating data platforms, analytics, or AI‑enabled workflows.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for building tools that improve developer and operational productivity.
