Working for a company that invents entire categories and industries means you’ll be challenged to creatively apply your deep legal expertise to rare and often unexplored aspects of the law. We are looking for a litigator with great judgment, excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to manage the day-to-day progress of antitrust and regulatory litigation matters. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has experience in handling competition-related cases and other regulatory litigation across Europe and beyond. This role requires a litigator with highly efficient time management skills and the ability to strategically run litigation matters from beginning to end.

As a member of Apple's commercial litigation team, you will not be merely monitoring outside counsel. Rather, you will personally be formulating and driving strategy as well as working with a number of cross-functional teams and stakeholders across all product areas. The position requires a high degree of self-sufficiency, independent judgment, and a trial-focused approach. Travel is anticipated. You will operate as part of a supportive and fun team of lawyers, legal specialists, and support staff who work closely together to protect Apple's interests. The role sits at Apple's offices in London with a vibrant set of attorneys supporting other aspects of Apple’s business. The candidate will need to both work well with that team while also working with remote teams in the US and around the world.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of major law firm and/or in-house litigation experience
  • UK or other common law qualification as Solicitor, Barrister or equivalent
  • Experience working on complex multi-jurisdictional proceedings; litigation experience in civil law jurisdictions a plus
  • Fluent in oral and written English; ability to work in at least one further European language a plus
  • Understanding of the need to match legal expertise to the business context
  • Excellent communication, analytical, organization, and negotiation skills are essential
  • Able to work independently and also collaborate well with others in an organised manner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with privacy, antitrust, product liability, class actions and regulatory litigation
  • Ability to work in at least one further European language
  • Strong technology interest and aptitude
