This is a varied commercial role focused on growing the organisation's Apple business.

You will work closely with internal account managers, Apple, distribution partners and associated technology vendors to create opportunities, strengthen internal knowledge and increase the adoption of Apple products, services and solutions.

Instead, you will act as the link between Apple, the wider partner ecosystem and the internal sales organisation.

The role would suit someone with early experience within IT sales, business development, vendor management or sales enablement who is ready to take greater ownership of a strategic technology partnership.

The Opportunity You will become the internal point of contact for all things Apple, helping sales colleagues understand the proposition, identify opportunities within their customer accounts and position Apple solutions more effectively.

Working alongside the Head of Partner Management, you will support the delivery of the company's Apple growth strategy and help turn vendor programmes, incentives and marketing activity into genuine sales opportunities.

You will also develop strong working relationships with Apple, distribution partners and complementary technology vendors.

You will work with account managers and sales teams to identify, qualify and progress Apple opportunities across both existing and prospective customers. This will include:

  • Identifying opportunities to increase Apple sales within existing customer accounts
  • Helping account managers build Apple-focused account plans
  • Highlighting gaps and untapped opportunities within the customer base
  • Supporting the positioning of Apple products, services and associated solutions
  • Assisting with customer presentations, proposals and bid responses

  • Become the internal Apple subject matter expert
  • Deliver training and enablement sessions alongside Apple representatives
  • Keep sales teams informed about Apple promotions, programmes, incentives and funding
  • Develop presentations, playbooks, sales tools and customer-facing collateral
  • Support new sales colleagues in understanding the Apple proposition
  • Share market information, customer trends and competitor insight
  • Marketing and Demand Generation

You will work closely with the marketing team to support Apple-focused campaigns and customer engagement activity. This could include:

  • Planning campaigns, webinars and customer events
  • Supporting lead-generation initiatives
  • Following up campaign responses with the sales team
  • Helping develop relevant content and customer messaging
  • Measuring the contribution of marketing activity to the Apple pipeline
  • Managing Partner Relationships

You will build effective day-to-day relationships with Apple, distributors and other associated technology vendors.

You will participate in business reviews, planning sessions and partner initiatives, helping ensure that agreed activities and growth programmes are delivered.

You will also make sure that relevant vendor incentives, funding opportunities and sales programmes are understood and used internally.

Reporting and Pipeline Visibility

You will maintain a clear view of the Apple sales pipeline and provide regular updates to the wider business. This will include:

  • Tracking new Apple opportunities and key deals
  • Maintaining accurate CRM and pipeline information
  • Updating backlog and opportunity reports
  • Monitoring Apple revenue, gross profit and services attachment
  • Producing weekly reports and quarterly growth updates

Experience

You will ideally have between one and three years of experience within one or more of the following areas:

  • IT sales
  • Business development
  • Sales enablement
  • Partner or alliance management
  • Vendor-focused technology sales
  • Account management within a reseller, VAR, MSP or IT solutions provider

  • A commercially focused approach
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills
  • The ability to manage several activities and priorities at once
  • A proactive approach to identifying and progressing opportunities
  • Confidence working across sales, marketing and technical teams

Previous experience working with Apple products and solutions would be beneficial but is not essential.

Experience within an IT reseller, technology distributor, VAR, MSP or wider channel environment would also be advantageous.

Apple accreditation, vendor certifications or experience delivering sales training would be welcomed.

The Person

This role will suit someone who is energetic, commercially aware and genuinely interested in technology.

You will need to be comfortable building relationships across different teams, presenting to groups and encouraging sales colleagues to take action.

You are likely to be

  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Enthusiastic about Apple and technology
  • Confident but approachable
