Apple Cleaning Services Ltd is an established, profitable commercial and domestic carpet, upholstery and curtain cleaning company with a strong reputation for reliability, quality, and friendly service. Over the past 35 years, Jonathan and Christine have built the business from the ground up. They have worked very hard at creating an established brand with great repeat customers, website and loyal long-term staff. We are now looking for a motivated individual who wants more than a job — someone who wants to grow and ultimately own an already successful business and move it forward positively. This is a structured Path to Ownership opportunity for the right person.
The Role: This is mainly an office-based role with a strong focus on telephone sales and business development. Your primary responsibility will be handling inbound enquiries generated through our marketing activity, speaking with prospective customers, explaining our services, and converting opportunities into confirmed bookings. You will proactively contact existing and past clients to encourage repeat bookings and maximise revenue opportunities. Alongside sales growth, you will gradually take on increasing responsibility across operational, sales, administration and financial management as part of a structured handover plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound sales enquiries via telephone and email
- Generate and convert new business opportunities
- Commercial sales
- Follow up quotations and warm prospects
- Encourage repeat business from existing clients
- Support local marketing initiatives
- Oversee scheduling, supplies, health and safety and compliance
- Manage and motivate staff

- Negotiate with suppliers to keep costs down
- Work closely with the Directors to eventually understand all aspects of the business including reporting and accounting
