We are recruiting a Part-Time KS1 SEND Teacher for a primary school in the Warminster area. The position covers 2 days per week, including Friday with the second day negotiable, starting this term until the end of the academic year. Based within a Complex Needs Resource Base, the role involves supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, all of whom have EHCPs. There is no planning responsibility, allowing full focus on supporting pupils and delivering high-quality teaching within the provision. The school prioritises building a positive environment where children are encouraged to achieve their best. This is a motivated and friendly school community, dedicated to helping pupils reach their full potential.
Role Overview:
- KS1 Resource Base Teacher
- 2 days per week (Including Friday)
- Required ASAP
- Contract until end of academic year
- No planning required
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Possess a valid DBS on the update service (or we can process one for you)
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status or ENIC (was NARIC) and right to work (overseas teachers only)
- Have proven experience supporting pupils with SEND
- Be a reflective, empathetic and engaging classroom practitioner with the desire to make a real difference to pupil’s lives
- Be motivated by helping children overcome challenges
- Have high expectations of every pupil and be confident in asserting effective classroom management strategies
- Be able to easily build a rapport across the wider school community
