Required for an independent SEND provision specialising in Dyslexia. Set in stunning grounds, the school promotes small class sizes, an inspirational and supportive staff body and a collective interest in supporting students in both their academic and personal growth in a way that nurtures their individual needs and requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT or more experienced Maths practitioner who is keen to develop their specialist SEND knowledge and practice, in a setting that is committed to inclusive education.

About the role:

  • An exciting opportunity to secure a permanent role commencing in September 2026
  • Planning and delivering multi-sensory, evidence-based Maths lessons to senior school students (Y8 - Y11)
  • Working collectively with specialist staff, therapists and the wider school team
  • Experience of working with students with dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia is desirable but not essential
  • Opportunities for further training and development in SEN and SpLD
  • Full-time preferred but part-time hours considered

Role requirements:

  • Candidates must hold QTS or equivalent qualification (ENIC), and Right to Work
  • Applicants must be skilled at adapting teaching to individual learning styles and open to developing their specialist SEND knowledge
  • ECTs and more experienced educators will be considered
  • Qualifications in Dyslexia/Dyscalculia (Level 5 or Level 7 SpLD) would be advantageous but not essential - training in these areas would be available for the right candidate
