A supportive and community-focused junior school in Salisbury is seeking a full-time HLTA to join them from September for the full academic year. In this role, you’ll support the smooth running of the school day, stepping into lessons when needed, working with pupils across different year groups and supporting those who may need additional help.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise classes in the absence of the class teacher
  • Deliver lessons across a range of subjects within Key Stage 2
  • Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups
  • Support pupils with SEND, SEMH or additional needs
  • Assist with the preparation of learning resources
  • Monitor pupil progress and behaviour, feeding back to teachers and senior leaders
  • Support assessment and tracking of pupil attainment
