Key Stage 2 SEND Teacher – Calne A welcoming primary school that values every child’s unique abilities is seeking a dedicated SEND teacher for their KS2 resource base on a full time basis. Role Overview: * Role: Key Stage 2 SEND Teacher – Resource Base * Location: Calne * Start Date: 24th February 2025 * Contract: Full-time, temporary until Easter 2025 (potential for extension) * Class Details: Maximum of 8 pupils with ASD and SEMH needs, supported by a teaching assistant * Salary: Paid to scale The Ideal Candidate Will: * Possess a valid DBS on the update service (or be willing to undergo the process) * Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (for overseas candidates, ENIC recognition and right to work are required) * Be a reflective, empathetic, and engaging practitioner, passionate about making a real impact on pupils' lives * Have high expectations for every pupil, with confidence in using effective classroom management strategies * Build strong rapport with students, staff, and the wider school community If this sounds like the job for you, we’d love to hear from you!
