A small village primary school on the outskirts of Chippenham is seeking a KS2 Teacher to join their team on a 0.8 basis, working Tuesday to Friday. This role is required until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become permanent. The class has 25 pupils across Years 3 - 6. A Teaching Assistant is in class every day except Thursday, and planning is shared across a supportive local cluster of schools. Some adaptation will be required to meet the needs of the class, therefore this role is paid to scale.
Role Overview
- 0.8 KS2 Teacher Tuesday - Friday
- Small village school near Chippenham
- Years 3 - 6 class with 25 children
- TA support daily except Thursday
- Shared planning across the school cluster (with requirement to adapt)

- Contract starting 24th February until end of school year, with potential to become permanent
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Possess a valid DBS on the update service (or we can process one for you)
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status or ENIC (was NARIC) and right to work (overseas teachers only)
- Be a reflective, empathetic and engaging classroom practitioner with the desire to make a real difference to pupil's lives
- Have high expectations of every pupil and be confident in asserting effective classroom management strategies
- Be able to easily build a rapport across the wider school community
