A highly regarded nursery in Calne is looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead the setting with confidence and care. This is a hands-on leadership role within an inclusive environment where both staff and children are supported to thrive. You’ll be joining a welcoming, close-knit team with a strong safeguarding culture and a clear commitment to high standards in early years education and care. About the Role

- Permanent Role
- Full-time | 40 hours per week | 5 days across 8-hour shifts
- Lead the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Ensure full compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
- Support staff development through mentoring, coaching, and supervision
- Work within ratio when needed to support the team
- Promote an inclusive environment for all children, including those with SEND
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers
- Contribute to occupancy, tours, and the overall growth of the setting
Role Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or above (essential)
- Previous experience in a Nursery Manager role or similar leadership position
- Confident leading a team and supporting staff development
- A hands-on approach and willingness to step into ratio where needed
- Strong understanding of Ofsted expectations and experience with inspections
- Secure knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding practices, and legal requirements within early years settings
- Committed to providing excellent early years care and education, with a focus on ongoing improvement
