We're looking for an IT Support Engineer to join an established internal IT team supporting users across office, warehouse and manufacturing environments. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll provide 1st and 2nd line support, troubleshoot technical issues, support infrastructure projects and help maintain the smooth running of business-critical systems across multiple sites. If you enjoy solving problems, working directly with users and getting involved in a broad range of technologies, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing 1st and 2nd line support to office, warehouse, factory and remote users
- Managing support tickets through to resolution
- Installing, configuring and supporting PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices and IP telephony
- Supporting Microsoft 365, Azure and Intune environments
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, networking and connectivity issues
- Assisting with IT infrastructure improvements and business projects
- Working closely with users to deliver excellent customer service and support
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' experience within an IT Support, Desktop Support or 2nd Line Support role
- Experience supporting Windows 11 environments
- Microsoft 365, Azure and Intune experience
- Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP knowledge
- Networking fundamentals including switches, VLANs, Wi-Fi and VPNs
- Experience supporting mobile devices (iOS & Android)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable Experience
- VoIP / IP Telephony
- VMware or Hyper-V
- Endpoint Security solutions
- Manufacturing, logistics, warehouse or industrial environments
- Linux, macOS or HCL Notes / Domino
