Applause IT are recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer on behalf of a highly impactful, tech-driven not-for-profit organisation that’s tackling one of the world’s most pressing health challenges. This remote-first, UK-based team is small, but their global impact is enormous, distributing tens of millions of life-saving resources annually, powered by a bespoke tech platform that emphasises transparency, accountability, and data accuracy. As their operations grow, they’re seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to help evolve and scale their platform.
What you'll be doing:
- Developing and maintaining robust internal and external systems using .NET Core, Blazor, and SQL Server
- Designing secure, scalable, and efficient relational databases
- Taking ownership of projects from analysis to deployment
- Collaborating with a cross-functional, agile team on tech and process improvements
- Contributing to architecture, UX, and security decision-making
- Occasionally supporting junior developers and end users
What they’re looking for:
- 5+ years of experience with .NET Core, C#, SQL Server
- Proficiency with Blazor, Razor Pages, and EF Core
- Strong front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, responsive design
