Database Analyst Location: Hybrid working, St.Annes We are recruiting for a Database Analyst for a growing and innovative energy sector business. The Role As a Database Analyst, you will manage, maintain, and optimise SQL Server databases while contributing to innovative projects, including designing hybrid architectures and creating centralised data lakes. You will play a critical role in database administration, performance optimisation, cloud data management, and security compliance. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain SQL Server databases, including SSRS and SSIS. Optimise performance and implement hybrid database solutions using AWS or Azure. Ensure database security through encryption, audits, and compliance with data regulations. Design and implement data lakes for enhanced reporting and application development. Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure database alignment with business needs. The Ideal Candidate Proven experience with SQL Server, SSRS, and SSIS. Strong understanding of database clustering, high availability, and disaster recovery. Expertise in cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL) and hybrid architectures.
