We are seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to join our Customer Success team. In this role, you will engage with customers post-sales, developing software solutions on the Appian platform to drive digital transformation and competitive differentiation. You will lead projects throughout the entire project life-cycle, defining, designing, developing, and implementing custom software solutions using Appian's lowâcode platform.
This includes working within an agile environment to understand clients' business processes and technical needs, launching new relational data models in production, developing APIs to integrate with multiple systems, and leading/mentoring consultants through fastâpaced software implementations. You will also collaborate with clients' technical teams and business users as needed throughout the entire software and development life cycle and drive adoption by empowering clients to become selfâsufficient. This role is based in London and requires inâoffice presence 5 days a week.
To be successful, you need:
- Passion for mentoring/developing others and experience leading small teams through postâsale software implementation
- Ability to work with clients to define business processes and gather functional and technical system requirements
- Excellent communication skills, passion for technology and continuous learning
- History of success on crossâfunctional teams; experience building products using agile methodologies
- Basic understanding of objectâoriented programming, experience working with relational databases and database design/data modeling, and SQL skills
- Knowledge of software testing practices; integrations experience using APIs; familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Analytics, Machine Learning, Google Cloud, Application Integration, Database, Developer Tools, Management & Governance, and Elastic Containers (preferred)
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with handsâon software development or technical consulting
- B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related field/degree
- Willingness to travel 20% to support customer engagement
