An exciting opportunity has become available for a Sous Chef to join a vibrant, independent restaurant in the heart of South London. This is a fun, fast-paced concept with a strong focus on seafood, bold flavours and fresh ingredients. The food is approachable but quality driven, with plenty of personality and a menu designed around great produce, big flavours and consistently strong execution.

We're looking for a hands-on Sous Chef who enjoys being on the stove, can lead a busy service and wants to become an important part of a close-knit kitchen team.

We're Looking For

  • Previous Sous Chef experience or a strong Junior Sous ready to step up
  • Experience within busy fresh-food restaurants
  • A passion for seafood and bold, flavour-led cooking
  • Strong kitchen organisation and section management
  • Confidence leading service in the Head Chef's absence
  • Ability to train, support and motivate junior chefs
  • Good understanding of stock, wastage, food safety and kitchen controls
  • Calm and organised when working under pressure
  • Most importantly, a positive attitude and genuine passion for hospitality
