Join the Appen team as an Independent Contractor for Project Madara. Project Madara is seeking native English speakers for a short, one-time task focused on collecting speech data to improve AI voice and speech recognition systems. In this project, participants will read and record short sentences at different speaking volumes — normal, soft, and whisper — using the Appen Mobile app on their smartphone. Help shape the future of AI-powered speech technology by contributing your voice to build more accurate and natural-sounding systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and record short sentences in English at varying volume levels (normal, soft, and whisper)
- Complete all recordings within a single session
