About You:

This is an apprenticeship, so we’ll provide you with full training and support every step of the way.
Eligibility:
- A good standard of secondary education
- Not to already hold a CIPD Level 3 (or higher)
- The right to work in the UK and meet apprenticeship funding criteria
- Strong IT skills, particularly across Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Planner)
- Great problem‑solving ability and an excellent eye for detail
The Role:
As a Talent & People Apprentice, you’ll support the recruitment of high‑quality individuals who go on to save lives and make a real difference in the community. You’ll help ensure we continue to grow as a competitive, diverse, and purpose‑driven organisation. You’ll act as a central point of contact for both recruitment and the wider People team, gaining hands‑on experience across the full hiring journey. From managing recruitment systems like Team Tailor and Cezanne to keeping candidate and employee data accurate and up to date, you’ll be at the heart of our people processes.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities:
- Creating and posting engaging job adverts
- Reviewing applications and CVs against screening criteria
- Assessing candidate test results using tools like TestGorilla
- Keeping candidates informed and supported throughout the recruitment journey, ensuring a great experience at every stage
- Supporting recruitment events in schools, colleges and the community
- Completing key pre‑employment checks (right to work, references and DBS)
- Managing the careers inbox daily, providing timely and professional responses
Apprenticeship Details:
The CIPD HR Support Apprenticeship L3 runs for 18‑24 months, dependent on individual learner progression, with the possibility of the position being made permanent upon successful completion of the programme. Apprenticeship studies will take place remotely but you will be based within our New Milton offices. You will have an opportunity to achieve the CIPD Level 3 qualification as part of your learning programme, which will enable you to apply for Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
