The predicted salary is between 24000 - 33600 ÂŁ per year.
Hours: 35 hours per week
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00
Salary: ÂŁ24,000 per annum (ÂŁ13.19 ph)
Location: Hybrid - New Milton 50/50 (Initially for training will be office based)
This role is a UK based role and any hybrid work must also be within the UK.

About You
You’re a proactive and resilient individual with experience in a busy office and customer service environment. You take pride in your ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, and you’re confident using Microsoft Office applications. With a keen eye for detail and a “can do” attitude, you thrive under pressure and enjoy the challenge of juggling multiple tasks.
You’re someone who uses initiative to solve problems and actively looks for ways to improve processes and services. You’re self-motivated, reliable, and always willing to go the extra mile. Adaptable to change, you embrace new challenges and are comfortable contributing ideas and suggestions for continuous improvement.
Ideally, you’ll have some experience with supplier negotiation or preparing business reports, but more importantly, you bring energy, drive, and a positive approach to everything you do. You hold qualifications to at least GCSE (A–C) level or equivalent, including Maths and English.
The Role
Support the Supply Chain in all aspects of administration. To be the key focal point for the purchasing department within Appello regarding all administration matters, assisting the buyer where required.
Day to Day Tasks & Activities:
- To assist creating purchase orders: sending, confirming, checking order acknowledgements and progressing.
- Managing the purchasing in-box, processing Requests to Purchase, New Vendor Requests etc.
- To chase suppliers for delivery dates and feedback to other departments where required.
- Source new parts as required. Gather necessary information including price, supplier, full description and lead time.
- Assist in achieving cost reductions through negotiation and sourcing against targets on existing purchase prices, with the help and guidance of the Buyer.
- Help review the purchase order system (Business Central), to ensure it is accurate, up to date. Progress overdue orders and report discrepancies.
- To assist accounts payable with clearing invoice queries.
- Supporting our third-party warehouse with queries.
- Supporting the Supply Chain with admin tasks when required.
