Drive growth in the housing and social care sector by bringing Appello’s digital solutions to new customers and expanding success with existing clients.
Location: Field based – North of England (covering North Wales and above Birmingham)
Start Date: August 2026
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: £35,000 per annum plus £10,000 OTE per annum
- Car Allowance: £6,000 per annum
- Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 09:00‑17:00
- Holiday: 161 hours rising to 175 hours with length of service plus Bank Holidays

About You:
You’re a confident, relationship‑focused sales professional with a proven ability to win new business and grow accounts. Tech‑savvy, organised, and commercially aware, you thrive in environments where digital solutions meet real‑world challenges—especially across housing, social care, or telecommunications.
Experience:
- Strong track record in new business development, ideally within social alarms, telecoms, or digital service environments
- Skilled in the sales process, account management, and working closely with external customers
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) at intermediate/advanced level
- Competent with CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics or similar)
Desirable:
- Experience in the health & social care market
- Knowledge of IP‑based digital solutions, managed service models, and subscription‑based pricing
- Background in telecoms, monitoring, TECS, or warden‑call systems
Qualifications & Training:
- Educated to GCSE/O‑Level/NVQ Level 2–3 or equivalent
- Experience within social alarms, monitoring, digital telecare, or telecoms sectors
- Formal sales methodology training (e.g., LDL, SPIN, Holden, TAS) – desirable
- Knowledge of monitoring centres, dispersed alarm solutions, or digital telecare technologies – desirable
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of the housing and social care/TECS landscape
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Skilled in relationship management, report writing, and attention to detail
- Highly organised and able to manage varied workloads
- Commercially aware with ability to shape tactical and strategic solutions – desirable
