About You:
We’re looking for a detail‑oriented and proactive finance professional with solid background in management accounting or accounts receivable. You’ll bring previous experience (ideally 3+ years) in a Management or Assistant Management Accountant role, along with a strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, credit notes, refunds and payment allocations.
Qualifications:
- AAT qualification (further study towards ACCA or CIMA advantageous)
- Strong Excel and general IT skills, confident using finance systems – Business Central experience is a plus
- Excellent numerical accuracy and a keen eye for detail

The Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented finance professional to join our team, supporting the Senior Management Accountant in delivering high‑quality financial reporting and operational excellence across the finance function. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of key revenue streams, contribute to the evolution of reporting processes, and work collaboratively across multiple areas of finance. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring accurate revenue recognition, maintaining strong customer account management, and supporting wider finance operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue & B2B Customer Management: Take ownership of B2B revenue reporting and invoicing processes. Partner closely with the B2B customer team to ensure records are accurate and up to date. Raise invoices and ensure correct revenue recognition for each reporting period. Prepare aged debt reports to support the Credit Control function.
- Accounts Receivable & Sales Ledger: Raise manual and contract invoices/credits for both B2B and B2C customers. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve unallocated transactions. Proactively manage customer accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies. Support the clearing of open sales orders on a daily basis. Identify potential bad debts and assist with credit control activities. Maintain accurate customer account data, including VAT status and payment details.
- Payment Allocation & Reconciliation: Allocate and redistribute customer payments from platforms such as GoCardless and Stripe. Manage period‑end provisions where payments have not yet been released. Ensure all customer payments are accurately reflected in the ledger.
- Fixed Assets: Maintain the fixed asset register, including monthly additions. Calculate and post depreciation on a monthly basis. Perform monthly reconciliations of fixed asset balances.
- Wider Finance Support: Provide support to Accounts Payable, Sales Ledger, and month‑end reporting processes. Act as a flexible resource across the finance team during peak periods, annual leave or absence. Contribute ideas and improvements to enhance financial reporting and processes.
