APPELLO Ltd. is a banking software company, having its HQ in Hungary with more than 25 years of experience in development and implementation of banking software systems. We have our software implemented in various countries in Europe, but recently our customer base also expanded to Asia (Mongolia) and the Middle East. Our main activities include the development, implementation and support/maintenance of proprietary software and consulting services for other projects.
Our expanding team is looking for a Sales Manager (Contractor) for the UK market.
Main tasks:
- Building relationships with targeted financial institutions
- Contacting banks and financial institutions, including middle and senior managers in key positions, through conferences, partners or even direct approaches
- Organising and attending meetings with ApPello experts and managers
- High-level presentation of the solutions offered by ApPello, main uses and functions
- Identifying business opportunities, mapping customer needs
Job expectations:
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience in banking (e.g. business side, risk management, operations) OR 3+ years of experience in selling software or complex IT systems/products
- Occasional travelling on average 3-5 days/month
- Based in London (or within 100 kms)
- Customer focused, open-minded, agile personality driven to deliver results
- Openness and capability to learn
- Successful sales achievements in previous positions
To be considered for the position:
- Relevant professional experience in banking AND experience in selling software or complex IT systems/products
- Active network within the banking sector.
What we offer:
- Monthly contract fee of which 80% is fixed and 20% depends on activity (e.g. number of meetings arranged, business opportunities found)
- In addition, a sales bonus of 1-4 months’ contractual fee in case of reaching sales targets, made from the opportunities found
- Company laptop, mobile phone, travel and other incidental expenses (company car is not provided)
