About You

We're hiring a Junior Account Executive to own and close deals across all of EMEA. You're a high-performing BDR or SDR who has consistently exceeded targets and is ready to own the full sales cycle. You know how to research accounts, build outbound sequences that feel human, and run discovery conversations that uncover real pain rather than just pitch features. You're comfortable engaging Director-level and above buyers across IT, operations, and finance, and you can navigate multi-stakeholder deals with patience and precision. You keep your CRM current because you understand that pipeline hygiene directly affects your forecast accuracy and your income. You're familiar with EMEA market and can adapt your messaging to fit the buying culture. You use modern prospecting tools and AI-assisted research to work smarter and personalize at scale.

What you'll do and how you'll have an impact

  • Own your pipeline end to end—building opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound follow-up across all of EMEA.
  • Run full-cycle deals from first discovery call through contract signature, carrying an annual quota from day one.
  • Conduct discovery with Director-level and above IT, operations, and finance stakeholders to qualify opportunities and build business cases.
  • Develop ROI narratives and presentations that connect Firstbase's value to each buyer's specific pain points.
  • Maintain an accurate, up-to-date CRM forecast so the team can plan confidently around your pipeline.
  • Partner with Solution Engineers on technical validation and demo strategy for complex or enterprise opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Implementation and Customer Success at close to ensure a smooth handoff and a strong customer start.

What we're looking for

  • 1 to 3 years in B2B sales development (BDR or SDR) with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Experience prospecting into mid-market or enterprise accounts, with demonstrated ability to reach and engage senior stakeholders (Director-level or above stakeholders).
  • Strong discovery skills: you ask questions that surface business impact, not just product fit.
  • Ability to manage a pipeline, prioritise your time, and forecast accurately.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot, Salesforce, or a comparable CRM, maintained to a standard that supports accurate forecasting.
  • Comfort with modern prospecting tools and using AI for account research and personalised outbound messaging.
  • Comfort with EMEA market.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication. This matters because your outbound copy and stakeholder presentations directly drive pipeline conversion.
  • Coachability: you actively seek feedback and apply it quickly, which is essential at this career stage where the AE motion is still being refined.
  • SaaS or IT industry experience, especially selling to IT or security buyers is a plus.
  • Familiarity with MEDDIC or another structured qualification methodology is a plus.
