We’re seeking a Product Manager to join AppCheck in a new role focused on developing our Asset Management product offering, which brings together existing capabilities as well as developing substantially new features and UX/UI.
We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager who can liaise with commercial leadership, customers and technical teams, while building the product roadmap and driving progress towards and beyond launch.

Job Description
Asset Management is a vital activity for our customers and is central to effective risk mitigation. We are looking to enhance our existing discovery capabilities with new tools that keep our customers one step ahead of threats.
The Product Manager, Asset Management (PM) role will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of this capability, leading on the discovery, development, launch, and post-launch of the product and new features/enhancements post-launch.
Key Accountabilities:
- Realising Customer Needs. The PM will be accountable for developing insights into our customers, the risks that they manage, and discover new opportunities to better protect them from cybersecurity threats.
- Strategic Alignment. The PM will be accountable for ensuring that product outcomes and the opportunities selected for development align with AppCheck’s overall vision, mission, strategy, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continual Discovery. The PM will be responsible for regularly working directly with our customers, support, and commercial teams to build insight into development opportunities.
- Vision and Strategy. As a key member of the Technical Leadership team, the PM will work closely with the Board of Directors and Team Leaders to define the vision and strategy for the product including success measures.
- Owns the Roadmap. The PM will own the items and ranking of items on their Roadmap; this includes defining the problem, the shape of a good solution, scope limits, and desired timelines.
- Manage Launch. The PM will work closely with the commercial and support teams during the release of Roadmap items to ensure that the value proposition is well understood.

Essential Criteria
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in product management in B2B SaaS or Enterprise Software.
- A proven track record of launching and managing software products.
- Experience of working in an organisation using Agile Software Development practices such as XP and Continuous Delivery.
- Experience of managing and prioritising effort across multiple deliverables that are in scoping/development.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to use data and narrative to drive action and decision with both internal/external stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- An understanding of using Atlassian Jira for product delivery.
- A strong understanding of how to construct a cohesive, commercially aligned product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Desirable Criteria
Experience:
- Prior experience in the cybersecurity industry in either a technical or commercial capacity; experience with automated security testing technologies like DAST/SAST is an advantage.
- Experience of working with Large Enterprise customers in a B2B SaaS context.
- Experience of working with B2C SaaS/reseller networks.
Knowledge & Skills:
- An understanding of compliance frameworks such as GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC, NIST, HIPAA, etc and how they shape requirements.
- Knowledge of SQL (preferably DuckDB) for data analysis.
- An understanding of the current state and capabilities of LLMs for assessing AI opportunities.
- An understanding of the core principles of User Experience and User-Centred Design.
Qualifications:
- Any cybersecurity certifications or qualifications
Location & Remote Working:
This role is predominantly remote, with a requirement to come into our Leeds office 1-2 time per month.
