AppCheck is looking for a Marketing Manager to help build our marketing machine and manage the delivery of day-to-day activities across all marketing channels. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role will have the scope and resources to help establish the new function from the ground up. You will be responsible for growing awareness of AppCheck, driving lead generation and building the funnel for sales. You will also support brand building partner marketing through our network of MSSPs and VARs. This role requires a hands-on, all-round marketer who is able to work without existing marketing processes and structures and help define them as we go.

Core Responsibilities

  • Work with the Marketing Director to create the end-to-end marketing strategy for AppCheck.
  • Manage and deliver an integrated set of day-to-day marketing activities in line with the agreed plan designed to achieve key objectives.
  • Work with sales to plan, design and execute joint sales & marketing campaigns targeted at key sectors.
  • Manage the development of creative execution and campaign assets to support both inbound and outbound activities.
  • Oversee performance marketing, working with key partners to deliver programmes that convert.
  • Website management including on-page updates and delivery of SEO / AI strategy.
  • Social media channel management, maintenance of a social content calendar and creation of social content that drives followership and engagement in target audiences.
  • Development of compelling marketing content, including case studies, testimonials, thought leadership content, and lead magnets.
  • Support sales by providing high quality, effective sales enablement material to help drive conversions across the funnel.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities and performance of marketing agencies and industry partners.
  • Establish new partnerships with MSSPs and VARs and develop partner marketing assets that help AppCheck sell into new channels.
  • Plan and deliver activity to support industry events and tradeshows.

Internal Operations

  • Maximise the value of the current Go-To-Market technology stack, ensuring tools such as Cognism, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, G2, Leadoo and Salesforce are effectively utilised.
  • Provide detailed reporting on marketing performance and activity.
  • Manage marketing tasks and planning boards to provide visibility internally.
  • Work with AppCheck’s People team to build our employer brand and support recruitment.

Qualifications & Attributes

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a B2B tech marketing role, ideally within Cyber or SaaS.
  • Excellent organisation skills and a delivery-focused mindset, with a natural ability to plan and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong experience and understanding across the marketing funnel, from brand to content to campaigns.
  • Strong working knowledge of performance marketing including PPC and paid social.
  • High level of aptitude with CRM, data and modern GTM stack tools.
  • A pragmatic, flexible approach to execution – you must be willing to get stuck in and help build the machine from the ground up.
  • Experience managing third parties including agencies and partners.
  • Experience working with modern prospecting tools and data providers (e.g., Cognism, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, G2, Salesforce).
  • Experience of partner marketing.
  • Experience applying AI tools to drive marketing effectiveness.

Location & Remote Working: This role is hybrid, with a requirement to come into our Leeds office at least once per week.
