What you’ll be doing:

You’ll lead a diverse team delivering through life System Safety activities across Products and Services. Working collaboratively, you’ll develop and maintain key safety documentation, ensuring clear, consistent, and high-quality outputs across all areas of responsibility. You’ll assess emerging safety risks, guide engineering teams on safety evidence, and support inclusive knowledge-sharing. Coaching junior colleagues, you’ll help maintain hazard logs and contribute to safety reporting, while engaging with partners and customers through System Safety Group activities.

Core duties:

  • You’ll have experience authoring and approving safety documentation or technical reports, with a strong understanding of Safety Management Systems.
  • You’ll bring proven experience from Product and Service safety environment (inclusive of FFA, ZHA, FTA, FMECA).
  • You’ll be professionally registered (IEng/CEng) or actively working towards accreditation.
  • You’ll have a solid understanding of the system and/or software engineering lifecycle.
  • You’ll demonstrate a good working knowledge of relevant engineering standards and best practices.
