Job Description: You will lead and coordinate Supplier Development activity across your area, driving continuous improvement and value creation. You’ll enhance supplier performance through best-practice methods, structured improvement programmes, and capability assessments, ensuring full engagement in the SD framework. You’ll communicate performance, risks, and progress to cross-functional and external stakeholders, build strong collaborative supplier relationships, and support wider Supply Chain Excellence initiatives across People, Process, Technology, and Governance to help shape a future-ready supply chain.
Core duties:
- Leading and supporting strategic supplier capability assessments, including gap analysis and the development of clear, actionable recommendations.
- Providing technical and problem solving support to key suppliers, addressing complex issues to deliver robust and sustainable solutions.
- Developing and delivering training to suppliers and internal teams to enable confident and effective delivery of improvement activities (e.g. Lean, Practical Problem Solving, Project Management).
