Are you ready to make a significant impact in the HVAC industry? As an HVAC Applied Sales Manager/Engineer at Johnson Controls, you’ll be at the forefront of driving sales growth across the UK & Ireland. Your role will be pivotal in expanding our market share, boosting revenue, and fostering sustainable growth for both our YORK Distribution channel partners and the JCI Applied Indirect business unit.
What You Will Do
Drive Sales Excellence: Execute the YORK distribution sales strategy in close collaboration with regional sales & distribution managers to meet and exceed targets.
Build Strong Partnerships: Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with existing YORK channel partners, including distributors, contractors, HVAC installers, and consultants. Identify and onboard new partners to maximize market coverage and sales potential.
Empower Partners: Provide comprehensive product knowledge, pricing assistance, and design support to channel partners. Offer training and coaching to elevate their sales capabilities.
Lead Market Expansion: Support business development and marketing efforts by seeking out new opportunities, generating leads, and converting them into sales. Promote Johnson Controls & YORK’s value proposition with tailored technical and business solutions.
Champion Customer Needs: Analyze market opportunities, conduct competitive research, and advocate for customers’ needs within the organization to ensure our products outperform competitors.
Deliver Insightful Reporting: Accurately forecast and report sales volumes for various product lines and accounts, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Collaborate as One Team: Work seamlessly with colleagues across Johnson Controls to achieve shared objectives and drive overall success.

A proven sales professional with a track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.

Background/skills in selecting & selling Air-Cooled & Water-Cooled Chillers & Heat Pumps from 50 to 1000kW, Rooftops from 20 to 200kW, Terminal Units (FanCoil Units), Air Handling Units (FanCoil Units)

3-5 years of experience in specifying, designing, and selling HVAC applied solutions (Chillers, Heat Pumps, Terminal Units, Air Handling Units, Rooftop Units).

Excellent skills in supporting and training distribution partners to fuel joint growth.

Strong ability to work independently, meeting targets and KPIs while self-monitoring performance.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook; experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus.

Willingness and ability to travel across the UK & Ireland.
