The Head of Supply Chain will lead the development and delivery of the Supply Chain strategy, ensuring strategic leadership across the end-to-end supply chain underpinned by effective control, KPIs and inventory management. This role forms a major part of the decision-making processes required to keep the business on track to hit the overall business strategy, objectives and targets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Establish the overall supply chain strategy with a focus on customer demands, availability and sales and ensure operational plans are developed in line with this strategy.
- Lead the supply chain transformation plan to ensure the future needs of the business are met.
- Create & Own the S&OP process, giving the business financial visibility of the supply chain.
- Manage the 3PL relationship for imports.
- Lead, coach and develop the supply chain team to ensure they have the skills, knowledge and behaviours to effectively perform their roles and achieve their potential.
- Develop and deliver supply chain goals and action plans to contribute to the achievement of overall business objectives and ensure effective collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve this.
- Develop effective supply chain processes that ensure inventory levels are in line with company targets.
- Lead a culture of continuous improvement across the supply chain and partnering functions.
- Set effective KPIs, ensuring visibility in the supply chain, ensuring these are monitored and that improvement plans are in place.
Required Skills:
- Proven track record in senior supply chain roles.
- Demonstrable successful background leading supply chain teams.
- Experience of international supply chains.
- Experience in Demand Planning Systems Implementation.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Experience of working in a culture of continuous improvement.
Desired Skills:
- Degree level qualification in supply chain/logistics/operations/engineering.
- Sector experience.
