Warehouse Operative in Erith

We are currently seeking a hardworking and dependable Warehouse Operative to join our busy and fast-paced team. This is a vital role within our operation, where you’ll be responsible for supporting the smooth flow of goods in and out of the warehouse. From receiving and storing stock to picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our customers receive the right products on time. Responsibilities

• Accurately process incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring correct placement and documentation.
• Pick and pack items efficiently and with care, preparing them for timely dispatch.
• Load vehicles safely and securely for onward delivery to customers.
• Conduct regular stock checks and promptly resolve any inventory discrepancies.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pump trucks, in a safe and responsible manner (where trained and authorised).
• Take ownership of your designated area, ensuring stock is well-organised, clearly labelled, and stored correctly.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the warehouse.
• Work closely with branch stock control to maximise stock availability, including placing direct orders when necessary.
• Complete all required compliance and training modules within set deadlines.
• Demonstrate excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
• Follow correct manual handling procedures to ensure personal and team safety during all physical tasks.
