About the Role
Apollogrid is the UK operating subsidiary of Rahvolt Group, a fast‑growing renewable energy company specialising in solar PV systems and battery storage solutions. We are looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Chasington. In this key role, you will be responsible for the smooth running of our warehouse, ensuring all solar installation equipment and materials are ready and correctly prepared for our solar installation teams each day.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations to support the solar installation teams
- Ensure all solar panels, inverters, batteries, mounting kits, cabling, and tools are accurately picked, packed, and loaded for daily jobs
- Maintain high standards of stock control, inventory accuracy, and record keeping
- Coordinate with the installation teams to ensure timely preparation and delivery of materials
- Oversee the receiving, checking, and storing of incoming goods
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and well‑organised at all times
- Support health & safety compliance and best working practices
- Supervise and motivate a small warehouse team (where applicable)
- Report any stock issues or shortages promptly to management
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisor or team leader role (ideally in construction, building materials, or renewable energy)
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet daily deadlines
- Good understanding of stock control and inventory systems
- Forklift licence (desirable but not essential – training can be provided)
- Full, clean UK driving licence (desirable)
- Must be based close to Chasington and able to commute easily
- Passion for supporting the renewable energy sector
