About Us ApolloGrid is a fast-growing UK residential solar, battery storage and heat pump company, with showrooms in Croydon, Kingston, Barnet, Birmingham and Nottingham, and our national distribution warehouse in Chessington. ### Key Responsibilities Core finance: - Own monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasting and board reporting - Manage VAT (MTD), corporation tax, payroll liaison and year-end statutory accounts with external accountants - Build financial controls and processes fit for a multi-site, project-based business - Support pricing decisions and margin analysis across product lines (PV panels, inverters, battery storage, heat pumps) - Manage project-level job costing for installation contracts Inventory & working capital project (first 6 months priority): - Lead a full stock audit and reconciliation of the Chessington warehouse - Establish inventory valuation, cycle-count and stock-control procedures - Identify slow-moving and obsolete stock; recommend provisioning and clearance strategy in coordination with operations team. - Build stock-turn and working-capital KPIs to prevent recurrence ### Requirements - ACCA qualified (or ACA/CIMA) — preferrable - 3+ years post-qualification experience, ideally in a product/trading, distribution, construction or renewable energy business - Hands-on experience with inventory accounting and stock-system reconciliation - Strong Excel and accounting software skills (Xero/QuickBooks/Sage) - Able to work on-site with warehouse and operations teams - Right to work in the UK ### Desirable - Experience in a business scaling through rapid growth - Mandarin Chinese an advantage (group reporting to parent company) ### Benefits - Free parking, staff discount on home energy products - Company pension
