Your Role

As a Senior Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in enabling successful delivery across Apollo's product and technology landscape. You will support one or more product squads or value streams, helping teams establish effective ways of working, manage delivery risks and dependencies, and continually improve their performance. Acting as a trusted partner to Product Owners, Technical Leads and business stakeholders, you will drive transparency, accountability and confidence in delivery outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Lead delivery across one or more product squads or value streams, partnering with Product Owners and Technical Leads to deliver agreed business outcomes.
  • Support agile ways of working, facilitating planning, retrospectives, reviews and continuous improvement activities that help teams perform at their best.
  • Build strong relationships across Product, Engineering and business teams, ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility of priorities, progress, risks and dependencies.
  • Help establish and embed effective delivery governance, operating practices and planning frameworks that support predictable and sustainable delivery.
  • Manage delivery risks, dependencies and blockers, driving resolution and escalation where required in a fast moving environment.
  • Use delivery metrics and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and support informed decision making.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of Apollo's delivery capability through knowledge sharing, mentoring and the adoption of consistent delivery standards.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience leading delivery within agile product and technology environments, with responsibility for driving successful outcomes across multiple squads, products or value streams.
  • A strong understanding of agile delivery, product development and modern engineering practices, with experience coaching teams and supporting effective ways of working.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships across Product, Engineering and business teams, creating alignment, transparency and confidence in delivery outcomes.
  • Experience establishing, embedding or improving delivery governance, operating models and delivery frameworks, with the confidence to influence and challenge constructively at all levels.
  • Strong communication, facilitation and leadership skills, with experience navigating delivery risks, dependencies and competing priorities in fast moving environments.
  • Experience using delivery metrics and performance data to support decision making and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working within insurance, financial services or other regulated environments would be beneficial.
  • Agile, Scrum, SAFe or equivalent certifications would also be beneficial.
