A global accountancy and business advisory firm is looking for a Valuations Director to join their growing team! You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and partners to help businesses effectively.
As the Valuations Director, you will:
- Be proactive about business development and networking.
- Work closely with the partners.
- Cover diverse areas such as impairment tests, intangible assets valuations, business combinations/purchase price allocations, share-based payment valuations, equity investment valuations and incremental borrowing rates.
- Take ownership of improving a critical function.
- Be involved in training junior staff.
You’ll be someone who has:
- A proven track record in business development and winning business.
- A professional qualification; ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
- Significant valuation experience at a senior level gained within professional services.
- Experience of financial reporting valuations and a good understanding of the fair value accounting standards.
- Strong business writing, analytical and excel modelling skills.
- A proven track record in leadership, of managing and developing teams.
- Effective communication skills, who builds trust and respect amongst senior leadership team.
- Commercial acumen with an understanding of the internal and external drivers of value for a given asset.
