I am currently working with a very well known Banking organisation searching for a Head of Technology Risk to assist with the Strategic Growth and Development of the Technology Resilience function.
As a Head of Technology Risk you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring Risk and Commercial decisions are made to avoid harm to the firm, overseeing key risk remediation programmes.
- Leading risk reviews, projects or representing Risk Division in corporate projects with an impact across a whole division or divisions.
- Embedding the CCOR strategy and vision by modelling behaviours, creating and agreeing stretching performance objectives.
- Leading a highly proficient and capable team, developing colleagues through stretching objectives, feedback and coaching.
- Maintaining knowledge of the wider Operational Resilience Strategy ensuring that technology risk oversight supports this.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of Technology Resilience practices.
- Ability to assess strategic risks and risks from emerging technologies to provide forward looking advice and support to business decision making.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture and migration from legacy on-premise infrastructure.
- Understanding of technology architecture, including mainframe, private and public cloud – to assess how architectural design choices influence resilience exposure.
