Senior Manager | Corporate Finance and Governance at Apollo Solutions
I\’m working with a botique forensic accounting firms in Belfast who are looking to bring on a forensic accountant with personal injury insurance experience – but you will also work on a variety of cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and quantify economic damages in relation to personal injury and fatal accident claims
- Analyse pre- and post-incident earnings data, business account, and relevant medical documentation; making calculations for loss of earnings, loss of services, and loss of dependency
- Review and critique reports prepared by opposing experts and support the development of rebuttal reports
- Liaise directly with instructing solicitors, insurers, and counsel to facilitate case progression
- Support partners in the preparation and delivery of expert witness reports for litigation purposes
- Manage multiple cases concurrently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and adherence to deadlines
- Supporting junior team members
- Provide ad hoc forensic accounting support across a range of litigation assignments as required
About You:
- Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent), with demonstrable experience in forensic accounting
- Proven experience handling personal injury claims
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and written communication abilities
- Proficient in Excel, including experience with forensic accounting templates and financial modelling
- Someone who works well in a team but also of their own initiative
