A leading UK-based financial institution is looking for an Internal Audit Manager – Data Risk to join its specialist audit function focused on Data, Privacy, and Responsible AI. This role offers the chance to lead impactful audits across emerging areas of data governance, AI frameworks, and cloud technology, while providing assurance over the organisation’s data and AI strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and deliver audits covering data management, privacy, and AI governance
- Evaluate controls, frameworks, and tooling such as Collibra or cloud-native data solutions
- Partner with senior stakeholders to strengthen data and AI risk oversight
- Provide insight on evolving data and AI regulation and best practices
About You
- Proven experience leading IT, data, or AI-related audits end-to-end
- Strong understanding of data management, privacy, and AI governance frameworks
- Ability to interpret business strategy and deliver risk-based assurance
- Ideally holds or is working toward data or audit qualifications (e.g., DAMA, CDMP, CISA)
