We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Platform / DevOps Engineer to design, build, secure, and operate a scalable, multi-region Azure cloud platform. This role focuses on cloud platform engineering, DevSecOps practices, automation, and operational excellence.
Key Requirements
- Deep hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), including compute, networking, security, and data services
- Strong experience designing and implementing Azure Landing Zones using the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
- Proven experience migrating on‑prem workloads to Azure (rehosting, re‑platforming, refactoring)
- Extensive experience with AKS, Docker, and container orchestration
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps YAML with integrated security tooling
- Strong cloud security background (TLS/SSL, certificates, WAF, IAM, secrets management, vulnerability management)
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate secure, highly available, multi-region Azure platforms
- Champion DevSecOps practices and secure‑by‑design principles
- Lead and support cloud migration and platform modernisation initiatives
- Build and maintain reusable IaC modules, automation, and deployment pipelines
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, and cost‑optimisation strategies
- Support platform operations, incident management, SLAs, and scheduled maintenance
- Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, and operations teams
- Continuously improve platform reliability, security posture, and operational processes
- Create and maintain operational, security, and runbook documentation
Mandatory Skills
- Azure platform engineering and operations at scale
- Azure Landing Zone (CAF) design and implementation
- Terraform‑based IaC and scripting (PowerShell required)
- Kubernetes (AKS) administration and container security
- CI/CD pipelines with integrated security scanning (SAST, DAST, container scanning)
- Cloud security controls, monitoring, BCP, and disaster recovery
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery and modern operations practices
This role is offered on a 12‑month rolling contract with an immediate start date.
